IN Council Fall Quarterly Conference
The Indiana Council of Community Mental Health Centers (Indiana Council) for our Fall Quarterly Meeting focused on developing the skills to navigate a changing healthcare environment. The conference is highlighted by a luncheon keynote address from the new Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) Director, Jay Chaudhary. Jay will take the opportunity to share his vision for the future of DMHA, while also meeting leaders of the community mental health center (CMHC) system in Indiana. In addition, it will focus conference sessions on many aspects of CMHC operations, all designed to improve your ability to navigate the new healthcare environment, while ensuring continuity of care for those we serve, Indiana’s most vulnerable Hoosiers. Indiana Council will focus on important operational systems, such as improving on the movement of consumers from presumptive eligibility to full Medicaid coverage, developing improved county CMHC reporting, and working towards an improved collaboration between CMHCs and State Psychiatric Hospitals (SPHs).
