Shannon Beaudin Klein
Chief Marketing Officer
Shannon Beaudin Klein brings more than 25 years of leadership, marketing, and communications experience in mission-driven health care, government, and trade associations. As the chief marketing officer, she leads all marketing and communications for Qualifacts + Credible.
Prior to joining the company, Shannon was vice president of Marketing & Communications at OptumRx Genoa Healthcare, an organization that runs pharmacies in community mental health clinics. She was responsible for all internal and external communications, marketing, brand, reputation management and public relations. During her tenure, the company grew from 200 pharmacies to just under 600 nationwide.
Before that, Shannon was vice president of Marketing & Communications for HealthPartners, the largest consumer-governed healthcare organization in the nation, serving 1.4 million members and 1 million patients. She led a marketing communications team with about 100 employees across five teams, including Web and Mobile, Creative Services, Communications, Care Delivery Marketing and Health Plan Marketing.
Before joining HealthPartners, Shannon served as director of public relations at the Department of Transportation under Gov. Jesse Ventura. She was responsible for the department’s public information strategy on transportation projects, as well as overall internal and external communications.
Prior to that, Shannon served as director of communications for the Minnesota Council of Health Plans and the Minnesota State Hospital Association.
She began her career in Washington, D.C., as staff assistant to U.S. Congressman James Oberstar. From there she worked for two public relations agencies, including Porter Novelli in Washington and Himle Horner in Minnesota.
Shannon earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Honored with the Women’s Health Leadership Trust Emerging Leader Award in 2015, and the coveted Gold Effie Award for Advertising, Shannon serves the community as a mentor and committee chair for various local and national organizations.
